CASENGINE is built on generic yet powerful workflows which can fit varied jurisdiction workflows. First step towards setting up CASENGINE for your firm would be to check if the country and locations you want CASENGINE to use for exist, else we will understand how to create those in this article.
From the Master Settings in the header find the relevant links as shown in the image under tha tab "Cases & Projects"
If you don't see any link or setting, please refer to Roles and Permissions
Countries
From the Existing Countries page, you may:
- Alter the names of countries
- Add new countries -> upload flags for better representation
- Deactivate/Activate countries to be shown in CASENGINE
- Deactivate all countries except the one selected - if you want only one country to be shown in CASENGINE
Note: Keep only one country enabled if your practice area is within country. Go to the action button for the country you want to keep and select "Deactivate all except this" |
Locations
From the Existing Locations page, you may:
- Alter the names of locations
- Add new locations
- Deactivate/Activate locations to be shown in CASENGINE
Note: All locations will be automatically deactivated under any country once you deactivate that country |
Tip: Locations are important to Cases as most Case type and Judicature mappings work on the basis of Locations, so its recommended that you have the locations sorted for best results |
