Adding a New Hearing
From the entire CASENGINE portal, whenever you click a Case number link, it opens the Case View. Click on the Events tab on the Case View to see the button for adding a new Hearing
Important Note:
In case you don't see the "New Hearing" button, consider checking the following:
First, if the case type + location mapping has Hearings enabled - Enable Hearing for a Case Type
Second, if the hearing minutes of the last hearings are entered
Once you click the "New Hearing" button, you will see a popup to enter the new hearing details as shown in the image below
Enter the Hearing Date (only mandatory field)
Enter the Hearing Time (skip if not available)
Enter Roll/Chamber/Department (skip if not known)
Select checkbox to add hearing to Outlook Calendar (only available if the Microsoft 365 integration is enabled)
Once you enter the details and submit, you will see the new hearing in the events list
The "Enter Hearing Minutes" will only appear once the date and time of the hearing is passed,
You may amend the hearing details or delete the hearing altogether from the action buttons next to the Enter Hearing Minutes button. Some actions could be restricted due to the user permission level.
Entering Hearing Minutes

You will see a popup to enter the hearing minutes:
Will break the popup to parts for better explanation
Note: You cannot amend the hearing date and time from this page. In order to do so, you have to edit the hearing itself by clicking the edit icon and not the Enter Hearing Minutes button.

These numbers comes from the case type mappings automatically, however you can amend them from the edit icon towards the end of the row. These deadlines are sent as email reminders time to time and are also shown on the dashboard to avoid missing the appeal period.
Next you will notice options to create 2 tasks:

- Proceed with Appeal/Cassation
You may assign the relevant task to any user (responsible and supervisors in this case will show auto populated) and set the due date which is by default set to the date after 3 days of judgement logging
Judgement Amount: Sometimes the amount decided as claim is not same as the initial claim amount, so use this box to enter the correct Judgement amount.
