Case Custom Status Documentation


Case Custom Status Case Custom Status is used to manage case deactivation status data throughout the system which can be selected when users deactivate cases from the case view. These statuses help standardize and categorize the various reasons for case deactivation systematically across the platform.


Accessing Case Custom Status

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
  2. Under the Cases section, click on Case Custom Status

Managing Existing Case Custom Status The Case Custom Status page displays all case custom statuses in a table with:

  • Case custom status name (English and Arabic)
  • Case custom status type
  • Status
  • Edit action button

You can:

  • Add new case custom statuses by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
  • Search across all columns to find specific case custom statuses
  • Edit a case custom status by clicking the edit button in the action column
  • Change status by editing and updating the active toggle

Note: The system includes a fixed status "Case Adjudicated" of the type "Inactive" which cannot be edited or deactivated.

Adding a New Case Custom Status

  1. On the Case Custom Status page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
  2. In the form, enter:
    • Type of Custom Status: Select the type using radio button options - "Inactive", "Paused", or "Settled". Default selection is "Inactive"
    • Case Custom Status (English): Enter the case custom status name in English
    • Case Custom Status (Arabic): Enter the case custom status name in Arabic
    • Active: Toggle button set to "Active" (default) or "Inactive"
  3. Click Save to create the new case custom status
