Accounts Settings Documentation
Accounts Settings Accounts Settings are used to manage accounting-related configurations and preferences throughout the system for invoice generation, receipt processing, timesheet management, and expense tracking. These settings help standardize financial operations, customize document templates, and control user access to various accounting features systematically across the platform.
Accessing Accounts Settings
- Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side
- Under the Accounting section, click on Accounts Setting

Managing Accounts Settings
The Accounts Settings page contains multiple collapsible sections for different configuration areas. Each section can be expanded or collapsed to focus on specific settings. The page uses a form-based interface with various checkboxes, text fields, and file upload options for comprehensive configuration management.
General Settings Configuration
The General Settings section includes system-wide accounting preferences:
- Make matter not mandatory in timesheet entry: Check to allow timesheet entries without requiring matter selection, if this is enabled, while creating a matter, a default matter by the CODE of "MTINTERNAL" will be auto selected, the system will automatically create a new client by the name of "INTERNAL CLIENT" and create a matter under this client with code "MTINTERNAL" so that it can be auto selected while timesheet creation.
- Approval Needed For Due Payments Before Invoicing: Check to require approval before generating invoices for due payments, if this is enabled, the entries showing in the payment due module will not show for invoice creation until they are approved in the payments due page
- Enable QR CODE: Check to include QR codes on invoices
- Enable Footer: Check to include custom footer on invoices
- Enable Custom Stamp: Check to include custom stamp on invoices and receipts
- Enable Header: Check to include custom header on invoices
- Hide the total amount in words section in invoice and receipt: Check to remove the amount-in-words display
- Prefix the Current Year in Invoice Number: Check to automatically add the current year prefix when automatic invoice numbering is enabled
- Invoice Template: Select template design using radio button options - "Template One" or "Template Two"
Document Customization
When enabling custom elements, file upload sections become available:
Footer Attachment
- File Upload: Upload footer image for invoices and receipts
- Supported formats: .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg
Custom Stamp Attachment
- File Upload: Upload custom stamp image for documents
- Supported formats: .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg
Header Attachment
- File Upload: Upload header image for financial documents
- Supported formats: .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg
Uploaded Files Management
The system displays all uploaded customization files in a management grid:
- Logo Type: Shows the type of uploaded file (Header, Footer, Stamp)
- View: Thumbnail preview of uploaded images
- Download: Direct link to view or download the file
- Action: Delete option to remove uploaded files

Receipt Configuration
Configure receipt-specific settings in the dedicated section:
- Title (English): Enter the receipt title in English
- Title (Arabic): Enter the receipt title in Arabic
- Notes (English): Enter receipt notes and instructions in English
- Notes (Arabic): Enter receipt notes and instructions in Arabic

Invoice Settings Configuration
Configure invoice-specific settings:
- Title (English): Enter the invoice title in English
- Title (Arabic): Enter the invoice title in Arabic
- Notes (English): Enter invoice notes, payment instructions, and bank details in English
- Notes (Arabic): Enter invoice notes, payment instructions, and bank details in Arabic
- Footer (English): Enter invoice footer text in English
- Footer (Arabic): Enter invoice footer text in Arabic

Timesheet Settings Configuration
Configure timesheet-related accounting preferences:
- Only allow timesheet entry for matters with matter agreements: Check to restrict timesheet entries to matters that have matter agreements created for them
- Show timesheet entry of matters without matter agreement in due payments: Check to include non-agreement matters timesheets in the payment due module
- User can not manually add hourly rate while creating timesheets: Check to prevent manual hourly rate modifications
- User can not make back dated timesheet entries: Check to restrict timesheet entries to current or future dates

Expense Settings Configuration
Configure expense tracking preferences:
- Users can make entries for the current date only: Check to restrict expense entries to the current date, preventing backdated expense submissions

Form Submission
After configuring all desired settings, click the Submit button to save all changes. The system will apply the new settings across all relevant modules and processes.
