Contract & LOE Reporting

Contract Status and History

A new column "Contract Status" in the contract table tracks signing progress, displaying "Not Signed" or detailed signed metadata including who signed and editing history, with strict blue and metadata styling per guidelines.


The agreement signed popup from existing clients' grid now features mandatory selection fields and historical tracking, updating contracts table accordingly with accurate validation feedback.


LOE Report and Export Improvements

Exporting contracts as LOE Reports provides a new Excel format with serial numbers, contract details, payment terms (multi-line, merged entries), payment status breakdown (professional fees, paid/unpaid amounts), and case/project numbers.

Matter selection restricts each contract to only one matter at a time, with feedback to prevent duplicates.

Timesheet Enhancements
Non-Billable Subtype Integration

A new dropdown for "Non-Billable Type" is now available when creating or editing timesheets, shown only if the entry is marked non-billable whose default value can be set in the matter agreement.


On matter selection, if a non-billable type is pre-defined, it will auto select and display accordingly.

The subtype also appears in the timesheet grid and all relevant Excel exports and custom reports (in italics for grid display, a new dedicated column in exports and reports).


Summary Report and Export Formatting

Timesheet summary and export reports now feature larger, bold headers, company and report titles at the top, improved alignment, and new totals for amount, time entered, and actual hours. Billable and actual hours are consistently center-aligned, with enhanced total row formatting for increased clarity.

Timesheet Page & Filtering Upgrades

The layout now positions total billable/non-billable hours at the header, with the "Export Excel" button. Filter sections support new "Lead Name" and "Approved By" dropdowns, typeahead functionality, and improved search behavior.


Bulk selection, batch move functionality, and robust validation checks have been added to enable smooth shifting of timesheet entries between leads, matters, cases, or projects.


Email Module Improvements

Tagging, Filtering, and Attachments

Emails now feature tag extraction from subject lines using the <<tagname>> format, shown as colored badges in a new Tags column for client, case, and project modules.


Users can filter emails by detected tags using dropdown controls.



Attachments marked with <<Attach>> will automatically upload to the document module in case and projects, but smart filters skip duplicates, signatures, tiny images, and low-resolution files. Specific filetypes (PDF, Word, Excel, text) are always included.

Reports & Case Management
Lawyer Performance and Judgement Reports

Staff Performance Reports in the HR section now aggregate follow-up and todo tasks, document archiving, case updates, judgements—all filtered by date range and user.


Access, Validation, and Other Changes

Messages in Client Portal

Message visibility for the external client portal is now limited to the responsible, supervisor, or thread owner (with full access for admins), enhancing privacy and clarity. 



Timesheet Creation

Timesheet creation checks for department restrictions, preventing cross-department time entry for restricted users with clear notifier feedback.


Contract Template

Contract template creation now enforces the presence of at least one client-related variable, with validation errors if not met.
