Stages Documentation


Stages Stages are used to manage stage data throughout the system for case type master, case type mappings, case registration, matter agreements - due by stage section, and legal library search. Based on the mappings, stages will be displayed during case registration according to the selected case type, helping organize and track case progression systematically across the platform.


Accessing Stages

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
  2. Under the Cases section, click on Stages

Managing Existing Stages The Stages page displays all stages in a table with:

  • Stage name (English and Arabic)
  • Priority
  • Status
  • Action dropdown menu with Edit and "Map with Case Type" options

You can:

  • Add new stages by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
  • Search across all columns to find specific stages
  • Edit a stage by clicking the edit option in the action menu
  • Map with Case Type to map the selected stage to all available case type mappings in the system by clicking the "Map with case type" option in the action menu 
  • Change status by editing and updating the active toggle

Adding a New Stage

  1. On the Stages page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
  2. In the form, enter:
    • Name of stages of litigation (English): Enter the stage name in English
    • Name of stages of litigation (Arabic): Enter the stage name in Arabic
    • Priority: Enter a numeric value to determine the display order. Stages are arranged in ascending order based on priority wherever they are shown in the system
    • Active: Toggle button set to "Active" (default) or "Inactive"
  3. Click Save to create the new stage
