Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) Documentation


Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) are legal professionals who can be added representatives for the parties in cases by selecting them from the judicial assistants dropdown in the client party and opponent party sections during case registration. This module manages lawyer information throughout the system for case registration and tracking their involvement across multiple cases. The system supports both individual lawyers and law firms with detailed contact information, case tracking capabilities, and document management features. 


Lawyers marked as "My Lawyer" will only appear in the client party dropdown, while all judicial assistants are available for opponent party selection.


Accessing Judicial Assistants (Lawyer)

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
  2. Under the Cases section, click on Judicial Assistants (Lawyer)

Managing Existing Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) The Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) page displays all judicial assistants in a table with:

  • Type (Company/Individual)
  • Name
  • Contact Person (for companies)
  • Telephone
  • Fax
  • Email
  • Website
  • No Of Cases (clickable to view case details)
  • Status
  • Action dropdown with View, Edit, and Activate/Deactivate options


You can:

  • Add new judicial assistants by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
  • Search across all columns to find specific judicial assistants
  • View detailed information by clicking the View option in the action dropdown - The view page is same like the create page with no option to edit.  
  • Edit a judicial assistant by clicking the Edit option in the action dropdown
  • Activate/Deactivate by clicking the corresponding option in the action dropdown
  • View cases by clicking the number in the "No Of Cases" column to see all cases handled by the lawyer

Case Tracking Features

Individual Lawyer Cases When clicking the case count for an individual lawyer, the system displays a popup showing:

  • Case Number (clickable) 
  • Location
  • Client details
  • Opponent details
  • Other Parties
  • Assigned Lawyer

Company Lawyer Details When clicking on a company type lawyer, the system displays a popup showing all contact persons within the law firm along with their case counts:

  • Lawyer/Expert designation
  • Title
  • Name
  • Telephone
  • Email
  • Number of Cases (clickable)

Contact Person Cases When clicking the case count for a specific contact person within a law firm, the system displays:

  • Case Number
  • Year
  • Case Type
  • Location
  • View option to open the case

From any case details popup, users can directly open the case view by clicking the case number or view icon, providing seamless navigation between lawyer information and case management.


Adding a New Judicial Assistant (Lawyer)

  1. On the Judicial Assistants (Lawyer) page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
  2. In the form, configure the following sections:


Basic Information

  • Type: Select either "Company" or "Individual" using radio buttons
  • My Lawyer: Check this checkbox to designate this judicial assistant as internal counsel. When checked, this lawyer will appear in the client party dropdown during case registration. When unchecked, they will only appear in the opponent party dropdown
  • Name (English): Enter the judicial assistant name in English
  • Name (Arabic): Enter the judicial assistant name in Arabic (appears when clicking the language icon)
  • Telephone: Enter the telephone number
  • Fax: Enter the fax number
  • Mobile: Enter the mobile number
  • Email: Enter the email address
  • Nationality: Select the nationality from the dropdown
  • National ID: Enter the national identification number
  • Website: Enter the website URL
  • Location Map Link: Enter the Google Maps location link
  • Address (English): Enter the address in English
  • Address (Arabic): Enter the address in Arabic (appears when clicking the language icon)
  • Notes (English): Enter any additional notes in English
  • Notes (Arabic): Enter notes in Arabic (appears when clicking the language icon)


Contact Informations (visible only when Type is "Company") This collapsible section allows you to add multiple contact persons for the law firm:

  • Name: Enter the contact person name
  • Title: Enter the contact person title
  • Telephone: Enter the contact person telephone number
  • Mobile: Enter the contact person mobile number
  • Fax: Enter the contact person fax number
  • Email: Enter the contact person email address
  • Address: Enter the contact person address


Click Add to include the contact person in the company's contact list. The system displays all added contacts in a table format with options to edit or delete each contact.


Document Management Users can attach relevant documents to the judicial assistant profile:

  • File Upload: Upload supporting documents such as licenses, certifications, or contracts
  • File Name: Enter a descriptive name for each uploaded file
  • Keywords: Select relevant keywords from the dropdown to categorize documents for easy searching (optional) 
  • Expiry Date: Set expiry dates for documents that have validity periods (optional)


All uploaded documents will be tracked in the document expiry module, providing automated reminders for document renewals and ensuring compliance with professional licensing requirements.


  1. Click Submit to create the new judicial assistant


Adding a new Judicial Assistant (Lawyer)



Document Expiry Tracking All documents uploaded with expiry dates will be automatically monitored by the system's document expiry module. This feature provides:

  • Automated email reminders before document expiration
  • Centralized tracking of all professional licenses and certifications
  • Easy renewal management for maintaining compliance
