How to do user mapping on CasEngine

In Case engine, user mapping involves creating a visual representation of the different roles and responsibilities, and how they interact with each other in relation to case management tasks.

To access the user mapping feature:


1. Switch to admin role

2. Click on the settings

3. Find users mapping

    a. Select the user by clicking on action.

    b. If this user is responsible for cases in 1 or multiple areas, check them and save. 


If this user is not checked in any location, they will not be able to view or edit any case in the system. 

Similarly, the secretary mappings might show the tasks and responsibilities of secretaries within your law firm and how they interact with other roles such as lawyers, the head of department and team leaders. 


External User - Client Mapping 


Client mapping will allow you to link the user to the client name registered in client list. Once the client is logged in, they can view cases and updates related to them. Save changes and to submit.
