Lead Management
Leads can be either created using the enquiry form or manually by the team members. The Leads page can be found under the main navigation menu "Client" -> "Existing Leads"
With the Lead Management module, you don't need a separate CRM unless you have a complicated workflow and/or sales pipeline. CASENGINE CRM is being used by most of our companies to fulfil the gap as it includes the critical processes like "Conflict Check" and "KYC"
Existing Leads
You can find leads and take actions on leads from the Existing Leads page. You can also create a new lead and see the statistics from the Lead dashboard as shown in the image below
In order to efficiently manage the lead, users must take necessary actions time to time and update them regularly.
From the main grid, you will be able to see all necessary information related to the lead along with last action and note.
You can perform the following actions for the leads:
- Edit any incorrect details
- Log Events - like calls, emails and meeting details
- View all the activities happened in the past
- Check the prospect for any conflicts
- Deactivate the lead if its no more relevant
Log Event
Select Event Type and the relevant Outcome - these can be configured as explained in the next section Configuring Lead Management
Enter the update in the Note
Select who will be working on this lead after this activity
Select any users whom you want to notify about the update
Select the stage on which the lead will be moved after this event example "Proposal Submission" - the stages can also be configured same like event types
Select the next follow up date so you don't miss contacting the prospects
Configuring Lead Management
- Go to "Master Settings" -> "Clients" to find all configurations related to lead management.
- Create Event Outcome first to later map it to the Event Types
- Same way you can create Lead Severity, Source and Stages to configure the system as per your needs
- While creating a new type or amending the existing one, you can map the same to previously created Outcomes as shown below
Review Activity Log
Activity Log can be viewed from the action items of the main lead grid page as explained in "Existing Leads" sections above. Activity log is an important process to keep an eye of on the lead flow and evaluate the process for betterment.
In the next articles we will understand about Conflict Check and KYC
