Creating a Client/Contact/Company/Individual

Adding a Company/Individual

There can be multiple ways to add Clients/Contacts whether its an Individual or a Company:

  1. From the "(+)" quick create option that is always visible in the header
  2. From Left Navigation -> Clients -> Existing Clients
  3. While creating a matter or a case


To facilitate fast user experience, you can add a new Company/Individual with basic information like

  1. Name
  2. Opening Date
  3. Responsible Lawyer

If you want to add more details on the go and click "Create and add more details" else just click "Create" to create the entity.

Email notifications will be send automatically to the person creating the record and to the selected responsible lawyer.


Adding More Information    

On click of "Create and add more details" button, you will see a detailed client view page to add other details such as:


  1. Company/Individual related details like nationality
  2. Accounting related details like Currency and tax numbers
  3. Sub-contacts with contact details like address, email and number 
  4. Upload documents related to the Company/Individual
  5. Add any external links if applicable example "data room"


Note

Set atleast one contact with email as primary contact for client communication and sending regular updates

Tip

While uploading a document, set the expiry date to receive timely reminders to renew important documents like POA
