Modified on Fri, 17 Jan at 7:46 AM

Casengine enables efficient communication by sending various notifications through email to application users, leads, and clients. These notifications include:

Internal

  • Case Notifications: Alerts for case creation and updates.
  • Client Notifications: Notifications related to new client creation.
  • Matter Notifications: Updates on new matter creation.

External

  • Lead Notifications: Features like KYC allow the system to send the KYC form directly to a lead.
  • Client Updates: For example, case updates can be emailed directly to clients.

Default Email Configuration

By default, Casengine uses noreply@codengines.com as the sender email address for notifications. However, we can configure custom email addresses for outgoing emails. Casengine supports the following protocols for outgoing email configuration:

  • SMTP
  • EWS (Exchange Web Services)
  • OAuth

Incoming Email Configuration

Casengine also offers an email reading feature, which automatically organizes and saves case-related emails under the relevant case. To enable this feature, an inbox must be configured in the application's incoming email settings. Casengine supports the following protocols for incoming emails:

  • POP3
  • EWS
  • OAuth

By leveraging these features, Casengine enhances communication and streamlines case management through seamless email integration.
