Locations Master Documentation

Locations Locations are used to manage location data throughout the system for case registration, project setup, judicature master, office master, user mappings, case type mappings, project mappings, and legal library search. Each location is associated with a country and can have specific regional settings like Hijri zone configuration.


Accessing Locations

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
  2. Under the Cases & Projects section, click on Locations

Managing Existing Locations The Locations page displays all locations in a table with:

  • Country flag image
  • Country name (English and Arabic)
  • Location name (English and Arabic)
  • Status
  • Edit action button

You can:

  • Add new locations by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
  • Search across all columns to find specific locations
  • Filter by status using the view options to display active, inactive, or all locations - active filter will show only those entries which are mapped to active countries, to see all entries, click the All filter.
  • Edit a location by clicking the edit button in the action column
  • Change status by editing and updating the active toggle

Adding a New Location

  1. On the Locations page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
  2. In the form, enter:
    • Location En: Enter the location name in English 
    • Location Ar: Enter the location name in Arabic 
    • Country: Select the country from the dropdown - This comes from the Country Master
    • Hijri Zone: Check to enable Hijri dates for this location. When enabled, users will have an option to select Hijri dates alongside Gregorian dates in case registration date, hearing date in add hearing popup, and next hearing date in hearing minutes popup
    • Active: Toggle button set to "Active" (default) or "Inactive"
  3. Click Save to create the new location
