Litigator Master Documentation

Litigators Litigators are used to manage litigator registration data throughout the system for tracking legal professionals authorized to represent cases across different jurisdictions and stages. The litigator module is used to add which lawyers have license to practice in which jurisdiction. If the license is active, then they can be selected as the litigator in any hearing minutes updates section and also in the litigator attendance module where we set the litigators for each case hearing for the next day. Each litigator registration includes authorization details, geographical coverage, and validity periods, helping standardize legal representation systematically across the platform.

Accessing Litigators

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
  2. Under the Cases section, click on Litigators

System Notifications The system automatically sends email reminders to users whose litigator registration cards have expired or are expiring within the next 30 days. The email notifications start 30 days before the expiry deadline and continue until the registration is renewed or the card is deactivated. The email notification includes:

  • A reminder message to renew the registration card
  • Litigator details including name, country, location, and expiry date
  • A direct link to the litigator management page
  • CC to HOD and TL for oversight and follow-up

This automated notification system ensures timely renewal of litigator registrations and maintains compliance with licensing requirements.

The reminder can be disabled from the email reminder page if needed.
