Project Mapping Documentation
Project Mapping Project Mapping is used to manage the mapping between project types and locations throughout the system for project registration. These mappings define the specific configuration of processes, requirements, tasks, and fee structures that will be available when registering projects for a particular project type and location combination, helping standardize project processing systematically across the platform.
Accessing Project Mapping
- Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
- Under the Projects section, click on Project Mapping

Managing Existing Project Mappings The Project Mapping page displays all project mappings in a table with:
- Project group name
- Project type name
- Location
- Tasks (comma separated)
- Processes (comma separated)
- Requirements (comma separated)
- Edit action button
You can:
- Add new project mappings by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
- Search by project group name, project type name, or location to find specific mappings
- Edit a project mapping by clicking the edit button in the action column

Adding a New Project Mapping
- On the Project Mapping page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
- In the form, enter the select mapping details:
- Project Group: Select the project group from the dropdown using single selection
- Project Type: Select the project type from the dropdown using single selection. This dropdown will be populated based on the selected project group
- Location: Select the location from the dropdown using single selection. Select "All" to map the same settings to all locations
Once you select the above three fields, the system will display additional configuration sections for processes, requirements, tasks, and fees. You can uncheck any section checkbox to hide that section during the project registration process.
Processes Section
- Processes: Check this checkbox to enable process configuration, if left unchecked, this section will not appear while registering a project for the above combination of Project Group, Project Type and Location
- Select processes using checkbox group with multi selection from the available project processes
- For each selected process, enter the Number of Days for completion
- Use the drag and drop functionality (three lines icon) to reorder the processes sequence
Requirements Section
- Requirements: Check this checkbox to enable requirements configuration, if left unchecked, this section will not appear while registering a project for the above combination of Project Group, Project Type and Location
- Select requirements using checkbox group with multi selection from the available project requirements
- For each selected requirement, you can:
- Add additional details in Description (English) and Description (Arabic) fields
- Upload relevant forms or documents using the Attachment field so they can be downloaded, filled, and uploaded again during project registration
Tasks Section
- Tasks: Check this checkbox to enable tasks configuration, if left unchecked, this section will not appear while registering a project for the above combination of Project Group, Project Type and Location
- Select tasks using checkbox group with multi selection from the available project tasks
Fees Section
- Fees: Check this checkbox to enable fee configuration, if left unchecked, this section will not appear while registering a project for the above combination of Project Group, Project Type and Location
- Add fees manually by entering:
- Amount: Enter the fee amount (e.g., registration fees, tentative costs)
- Description (English): Enter the fee description in English
- Description (Arabic): Enter the fee description in Arabic
- Click Add to include the fee in the mapping
- Multiple fees can be added and will be displayed in a table format
- Use the remove icon to delete any added fees
- Click Submit to create the new project mapping
