Email Reminder Documentation
Email Reminder Email Reminder is used to manage automated email notification settings throughout the system for various modules and functions. This configuration allows administrators to enable or disable morning and evening reminders for different types of system notifications, ensuring timely communication and follow-up across the platform.
The system supports testing individual reminders and sending instant notifications when needed.
Accessing Email Reminder
- Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side.
- Under the System section, click on Email Reminder

Managing Email Reminder Settings The Email Reminder page displays a comprehensive configuration interface with the following components:
Default Weekday Configuration At the top of the page, you can configure the default week day settings:
- Default Week Day: Select either "Sunday" or "Monday" using radio button options to set the default start day for weekly reminder cycles
- Test Reminder: Click the "Test Reminder" button to send test notifications for all enabled reminders to verify system functionality
Reminder Types Table The main section displays all available reminder types in a table format with the following columns:
- Reminder Name: The specific type of reminder (e.g., Appeal Period, Hearing Reminder, Meeting Reminder)
- Morning Reminder: Checkbox to enable/disable morning notifications for each reminder type
- Evening Reminder: Checkbox to enable/disable evening notifications for each reminder type
- Send: Individual "Send Reminder" button to trigger instant notifications for specific reminder types
Bulk Selection Options The table header includes convenient bulk selection features:
- Morning Reminder Header Checkbox: Select or deselect all morning reminders simultaneously
- Evening Reminder Header Checkbox: Select or deselect all evening reminders simultaneously
Available Reminder Types The system includes the following automated reminder categories:
- Appeal Period: Notifications for upcoming appeal deadlines
- Hearing Reminder: Alerts for scheduled court hearings
- Meeting Reminder: Notifications for upcoming meetings
- Follow Up Reminder: Alerts for pending follow-up tasks
- Service Agreement Expiry: Notifications for expiring service agreements
- Payment Due Reminder: Alerts for outstanding payment obligations
- Missing Time Sheet: Notifications for incomplete timesheet submissions
- Case Status Reminder: Updates on case status changes
- LSR Approval Reminder: Alerts for pending Legal Service Request approvals
- Password Generate Reminder: Notifications for password not set users
- Litigator Expiring: Alerts for expiring litigator registrations
- Daily Summary Reminder: Daily updates notifications
- System Usage Alert: Notifications about system usage patterns
- Project Meeting Reminders: Alerts for scheduled project meetings
- Project Follow Up Task Reminder: Notifications for pending project tasks
- To-Do Reminder: Alerts for outstanding to-do items

- Payment Due Reminder for Timesheet and Expense: Specialized alerts with frequency options (Daily, Weekly on Monday, Monthly on 1st)
- Stop Timesheet Time Keeper: Service for stopping timesheets at midnight which were left running for time recording
- Email Read Issue Delete: Service for deleting old emails which were not linked to any client, case or project after 30 days
- Paid Invoice Reminder: Notifications for processed invoices
- Approval Reminder for Timesheet: Timesheet approval alerts with configurable day-of-month selection
- Obligation Reminder: Notifications for pending obligations
Special Configuration Options
Payment Due Reminder for Timesheet and Expense This reminder type includes additional frequency settings:
- Daily: Send reminders every day
- Every week on Monday: Send reminders weekly on Mondays
- Every month on 1st: Send reminders monthly on the first day
Approval Reminder for Timesheet This reminder type includes a multi-select dropdown for:
- Day of the month: Select specific days (1-31) when approval reminders should be sent
Configuration and Testing
You can:
- Enable/Disable Individual Reminders: Check or uncheck morning and evening options for each reminder type
- Bulk Enable/Disable: Use header checkboxes to quickly configure multiple reminders
- Test All Reminders: Click "Test Reminder" to send test notifications for all enabled reminder types
- Send Individual Reminders: Use the "Send Reminder" button for any specific reminder type to trigger immediate notifications
- Configure Frequency: Set custom frequency options for applicable reminder types
- Save Settings: Click "Submit" to save all configuration changes

Usage Notes
- Morning and evening reminder timing is controlled by system-wide time settings, please contact admin for more information
- Individual reminder buttons allow for immediate testing and manual triggering
- Bulk selection options provide efficient management of multiple reminder types
- Special configuration options are available for specific reminder types requiring custom scheduling
- The Default week day is used for weekly reminders that are sent for hearings and meetings, so if default week day is Monday, the weekly reminder will be sent on friday for the upcoming week Monday - Friday events.
- All changes must be saved using the Submit button to take effect
