User Role Group Mapping Documentation


Introduction

Role Group Mapping is used to manage the mapping between role groups and users throughout the system for timesheet management and billing rate organization. These mappings define which users belong to specific role groups, enabling proper timesheet categorization and rate calculations based on role classifications. The role group mapping helps standardize user organization and supports flexible billing structures systematically across the platform.


Accessing Role Group Mapping

  1. Navigate to the Settings section by clicking the settings icon in the header bar on the left side
  2. Under the Common Master section, click on User Role Mapping

Managing Existing Role Group Mappings

The Role Group Mapping page displays all role group mappings in a table with:

  • Role group name (English and Arabic)
  • User names (English and Arabic) - comma separated list of mapped users
  • Edit action button

You can:

  • Add new role group mappings by clicking the Add New button in the top right corner
  • Search across all columns to find specific role group mappings
  • Edit a role group mapping by clicking the edit button in the action column

Adding a New Role Group Mapping

  1. On the Role Group Mapping page, click the Add New button in the top right corner
  2. In the form, configure the following sections:

Basic Information

  • Role Group Name: Select the role group from the dropdown using single selection

User Assignment

  • Users: Select one or more users from the dropdown using multi selection to assign them to the selected role group
  1. Click Submit to create the new role group mapping
